Loved it, until 5 days later, when it burned up and ruined by cabinet!, January 7, 2012 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Kalorik Jug Kettle, Red (Kitchen) Used it about 5-6 times and loved it, until it turned itself on in the middle of the night and burned up, causing damage to my kitchen cabinet! Kalorik said it would swap the unit out, but said that they didn't think their unit caused the damage to my cabinet. Returned to Amazon for a credit, because not only would I worry about this happening again, but I don't want to business with the company ... made in China crap!

I received the kettle and this is one of favorite purchases for the home. The kettle heats up the water quickly just as described. The seller managed the transaction in a timely fashion.
