I have a manual machine at home, and I love the lattes, but it's way too much work for something in the office. This machine is absolutely perfect. It's very easy to set up & use right out of the box, and the coffee is tasty. The milk frother is really neat - it is almost silent & quite fast, and you have perfect warm milk with tons of foam & no mess at all. Clean up for the espresso machine & the frother is super easy. You pull out a few parts, take them to the sink, wash & dry, and pop them back in. The frother can go right in the water; you don't have to be careful about keeping some parts dry. Both machines are compact & attractive. There are many varieties of coffee pods available online at the Essenza website. I'm still trying the different kinds to decide which ones I will order regularly. Some are definitely much better than others, in my opinion.
